Born in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1961. My first spark with art was at the age of five years old in kindergarten class when my teacher assigned our class to draw a picture in small boxes that had our alphabet letters in the corner. When I came to the letter 'T' I looked around for a word that began with that letter and realized that I could draw my Teacher.
